The announced media enhancement of the Qedoc quiz software has been renamed as version 1.2 and the release delayed by several weeks.
This was due to the unexpectedly extensive range of improvements made in the usability enhancement released as version 1.1 today.
The announced version 1.2 release includes enhanced support for embedded media such as flash movies, video clips and a wide range of audio formats (SWF, MOV, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, MP3 and MID files). The delay is not due to technical difficulties - merely to reprioritisation of other enhancements, especially usability-related enhancements.
